A parked domain is one that is taken, yet it is not associated with some other service - web or e mail hosting. To put it differently, this kind of domain address will not open any actual content if you type it within a browser, but nobody else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The main advantage of acquiring a domain and parking it afterwards is that you are able to keep it and not worry that somebody else could possibly register it meanwhile if, for example, the website for it is not ready yet. You can set a short-term Under Construction page for a parked domain name while you're working on your site, or direct it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be used if you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you get domain.net and domain.org, so that you can protect a brand name or a trademark. In cases like this, the .net and .org domains can be parked and forwarded to the .com as you don't need separate websites for them.

Parked Domains in Shared Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domain names as you would like with any of the shared hosting packages which we offer you. Of course, this feature is available exclusively for domain addresses registered here as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike many companies, we don't charge anything extra for parking a domain and the process takes only a few clicks in your Hepsia CP. We've got a couple of parking templates to select from where you can include custom text. If you decide to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account will take only a mouse click. Everything necessary for your website to start showing up, including creating a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domains that you've registered using us and you will be able to set a filter to see only the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server we offer you are going to have the opportunity to park as many domains that are registered through us as you would like. Given that only the registrar company can offer a parking function, you can not park domain names which are only hosted on our state-of-the-art cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you'll be able to park and un-park domains with just a couple of mouse clicks and filter all domains that you've got by their status, for easier administration. We offer a number of different templates which you can use and if you want to, you could also include some custom text to each of them. If you decide to un-park a domain and host it within your account, you won't have to do anything manually - our system will create a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will create all the required DNS records so that your domain address functions properly and starts opening the content which you upload for it on our servers.
