Varnish in Shared Hosting
In case you host your Internet sites under a shared hosting account with our company, you’ll be able to add Varnish with a couple of clicks of the mouse through your Control Panel. The caching platform comes as an upgrade with all our shared web hosting packages and you can choose how many sites will use it and the total amount of system memory that will be used for the cached content. The two features that can be upgraded in the Control Panel’s Upgrades section are the amount of memory and the number of instances and they aren’t directly tied to each other, so you can decide if you want lots of memory for one large-scale website or less memory for multiple smaller ones. You can take advantage of the full potential of the Varnish platform in case the sites use a dedicated IP address. With the Control Panel, you can easily start/reboot/terminate an instance, delete the cached files independently for each site which uses Varnish or view a comprehensive log file.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
All our semi-dedicated servers include Varnish by default, so you can make full use of the web app accelerator and improve the speed of any site that you host on our semi-dedicated servers. You will get 64 MB of memory dedicated to the Varnish accelerator at no extra fee and you’ll be able to enable an instance with no more than a few clicks from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which is included with the semi-dedicated plans. If you need more memory, the latter is available in increments of 32 megabytes through the Control Panel’s Upgrades section and it will be at your disposal instantaneously. You can also order more instances as a separate upgrade, so you can choose whether plenty of content will be cached for one website or whether the available memory will be used by different websites. Hepsia will enable you to reboot or to delete any instance, to see the system log file associated with it or to clear the cached content using 1-click controls. To get the most out of the Varnish accelerator, you can allocate a dedicated IP address to the websites which will use it.
